NORWALK INSIGHTS
Norwalk Ohio manufacturing facility opened in 1956. With several different owners over the years, the business has always been medical device manufacturing. The facility is currently a high mix, low volume operation producing Scopes and Hand Instruments. The facility has many technologies to support the vertically integrated focus of Nissha.
In 2020, Nissha Medical Technologies added medical machining, including assembly and over-molding of machined components, to our vertically integrated list of capabilities.

NORWALK BE BETTER PROGRAM
Our employees regularly submit improvement ideas, safety concerns, and other suggestions to our Management Team. These items are carefully reviewed and implemented whenever possible. Often, they’re small, everyday ideas that our operators come across on the floor. This program is one of the ways we ensure our employees have a voice in shaping production improvements, safety initiatives, and more. Many of these ideas have led to meaningful changes—like redesigning a locating fixture to reduce scrap and boost productivity during manufacturing.
